TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 
 
  1. Tobago Destination Management acts as Booking Agent for the owners of  apartments, hotel rooms and villas. All bookings depend on availability of the accommodation of your choice. Prices are subject to change without notice. Mistakes made by any booking agent Tobago Destination Management when calculation the price fort he accommodation booked by you are subject to correction and the full and correct rental fee is owed by the client and will be charged to your credit card or taken in cash upon your arrival at the rental property. The information on our website are believed to be correct and are based on information given to us by the property owners. No responsibility is taken for the correctness of this information and Tobago Destination Management cannot be held liable for the accuracy of the information displayed on the web site!

    The booking agreement, once confirmed, will be between you, the client and the owner of the property in respect of which the booking is made. Tobago Destination Management acts solely in the capacity of a Booking Agent and is not a party to the contract.  information given to us by the property owners and we are not liable for the accuracy of the information displayed on our web site.
  2. No contract exists, until a completed booking form has been received by us and our confirmation of the booking has been received. Guests become liable for the timely payment according to the terms of payment of the properties. Please note that we send you a tentative confirmation when we receive a down payment. Failure to make the balance payment would result in loss of the accommodation reservation and refunds are subject to our cancellation policy!
    The booking shall be deemed to be for the purpose of the people whose names appear on the booking form. The maximum number of persons allowed at the property is clearly stated in the particulars of the booking confirmation and must not be exceeded without prior consent of the property owner. In the event that the maximum number is exceeded without prior consent as aforesaid the owner has the right to revoke the booking without refund. Bookings will not be accepted from parties of under-aged people and  and the owners reserve the right to refuse or revoke any bookings from parties, which may in their opinion be unsuitable for the property concerned.
  3. Hotels:
    Unless otherwise stated in your booking proposal or –confirmation, for all hotel bookings the terms of payment and cancellation policy of the hotel you booked are applicable. Pleaser contact Tobago Destination Management  at inquiries@tobagotrip.com for the information required.

    30 days prior to arrival forfeit 25% (minimum penalty one night, whichever is the higher amount)
    14 days prior to arrival you forfeit 50% and
    7 days or less prior to arrival, no show or early departure forfeit full payment for your booking.
    No refund of any part of the payment!
    Apartments
    Unless otherwise stated in your booking proposal or –confirmation, for all apartment bookings the following terms of payment and cancellation policy applies:

    A down payment of 25% (minimum 1 night) is necessary, to secure the booking. The balance payment is due 14 days prior to arrival.

    If you cancel a booking for which you have contracted, we will charge an  administrational fee of US$25 for the work incurred through the booking and the cancellation.

    PLEASE NOTE: Terms of payment and cancellation policy for stays during:
    Christmas, New Year, Carnival and Jazz Festival:

    Our property owners will only accept bookings of 5 nights and more over the periods stated above. The following terms and conditions apply:

    Terms of payment and cancellation policy: A non-refundable down payment of 50% of the full payment is necessary, to secure the booking. The balance payment is due 45 days prior to arrival with NO refund of any part of payment if cancelled after full payment!

    Villas
    Unless otherwise stated in your booking proposal or –confirmation, for all hotel bookings the terms of payment and cancellation policy of the Villa you booked are applicable.  inquiries@tobagotrip.com for anyformation required. 

    Payments can be made in TTD, US$ or € Euro cash, by travellers cheque, wire transfer (cost of transfer to be paid by holidaymaker) or credit card (Visa- Master Card).  

    Credit card payments have to be made in local currency. Our exchange rate for the USD is
    6.3 TTD = 1 USD. The exchange rate to the Euro is 9.50 TTD = 1 €. The exchange rates are subject to change without notice!
  4. If for any reason it proves necessary to make a change in your holiday booking by reason of the unexpected withdrawal of the property by the owner, or for some other reason, we will endeavor to make an alternative booking, or failing this we will refund to you any monies paid by you. The Property Owner will only accept liability for economic loss or compensation claims when the cancellation was caused owing to negligence of the property owner or his representative.
  5. We kindly ask you to keep  all furnishings, fixtures, fittings and effects of your rented accommodation in the same state of repair and condition as they were in at the commencement of the stay. In default of such obligation, you are obliged to reimburse the owner against any costs incurred by the owner in remedying such default. You will be responsible for any damage or loss to the accommodation itself, the furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects. Anything broken, lost or damaged should forthwith be repaired or replaced with an article of similar type and value. Any damage or breakage should be reported to the property Management, and paid for before departure.
  6. If you feel you have a genuine complaint in respect of tripommodation, please report this immediately to the owner/manager of the property or to us. We can take no personal responsibility in this respect, but we will refer it to the owner or representative the property.
 BY SENDING  BOOKING TO US, YOU ACCEPT OUR TERMS OF PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICIES AND AGREE THAT WE CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD ACCORDING TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ABOVE!
